Author: Steven Neish

In the years since the Cold War, during which the Soviet Union engineered a team of superheroes under the Patriot programme, the Iron Curtain has fallen and the subjects have gone into hiding outside of the new Russian border. When one of Patriot’s founding members resurfaces years later and uses his abilities to hijack a number of advanced paramilitary robots, Major Elena Larina (Valeriya Shkirando) is tasked with reuniting the estranged teammates. Comprising Ler Landman (Sebastien Sisak), a monk with the ability to control mountains; Ursus (Anton Pampushnyy), a were-bear who can transform at will; Khan Windman (Sanzhar Madiyev), a martial artist capable of teleportation; and Xenia Waterwoman (Alina Lanina), an invisible woman who can walk on water, Patriot aims to stop August Kuratov (Stanislav Shirin) from taking over the world.

In the over-saturated market of superhero movies it is becoming increasingly difficult to stand out, »

Iron Sky: The Coming Race – the first trailer

Simon Brew May 12, 2017

Hitler is on a dinosaur in the first trailer for Iron Sky 2…

The first Iron Sky movie arrived in 2012, off the back of a six year development period. It was fuelled heavily by fandom, with the makers of the film working closely with its potential audience through the making of the movie. Eventually, it reached the finish line, although its UK release spluttered, off the back of the decision to give it just one day in British cinemas. It took a fan backlash to do something about that.

Still, it’s a movie firmly classed as a cult one, with reviews not on the happy side generally. But still, it did enough business to warrant a sequel. Which is what brings us all together today.

Iron Sky: The Coming Race has been in the works officially since 2013, and this time, the movie has been crowdfunded too. Its »

Insane Iron Sky 2 Trailer Has Hitler Riding an Angry T-Rex

9 May 2017 4:29 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

2012's absolutely bizarre cult hit Iron Sky is finally getting a sequel next year and, it may not be a great movie, but it just got an insane new trailer. The teaser for Iron Sky: The Coming Race has finally arrived online, and it is way more bizarre than any of us could have possibly imagined. If the idea of space Nazis wasn't enough for you, how about Hitler riding a T-Rex like a horse? Because that definitely happens in this latest footage.

The Iron Sky: The Coming Race teaser was recently uploaded to the official Iron Sky YouTube channel, and it was worth the wait. The movie may not ultimately be worth a six-year wait, but even if that is the case, this trailer is definitely worth a few minutes of your time. There are spaceship battles that almost look worthy of Star Wars, a Nazi base at the center of the Earth and, »

Iron Sky 2 Trailer Hits: The Nazis Return Again, & This Time, They’ve Brought The Führer

9 May 2017 1:00 PM, PDT | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

Back in 2012, a dumb little film called Iron Sky was released. The movie was about as campy and silly as one would expect. The plot revolved around the conspiracy theory that Nazis left Earth and set up a base on the dark side of the moon. The movie itself didn’t live up to the expectations it set, but the style and concept still had serious potential, so when it was announced that they’d be making a second film, I counted myself as intrigued. This next film, it seemed would play off two big conspiracy theories.

The first conspiracy theory was that of a hollow Earth, and the second was the conspiracy theory that many of today’s leaders are actually shapeshifting reptiles. In 2014, the producers released a series of teasers, including one with Sarah Palin, Vladimir Putin, and (randomly) Jesus Christ going full pulp on us. However, it »

Trailer for campy sci-fi comedy sequel Iron Sky: The Coming Race unleashed

I actually remember the hype surrounded the original Iron Sky a few years ago, and what it supposedly would mean for independent films going forward. It was a low-budget action/sci-fi/comedy where fans and fellow online filmmakers collaborated and shared resources to create stunning special effects and striking images (such as Nazi flying saucers invading Earth from the... The sequel - Iron Sky The Coming Race takes the story deeper underground where our heroes will fight against Hitler's dinosaur army! Check out the teaser below, which does a good job of selling the spirit of the film. Iron Sky: The Coming Race is now aiming for release on February...
