Eric confronts Brooke and demands to know if her baby daughter, Hope, is the child of Deacon Sharpe, the husband of her older daughter, Bridget. Brooke tearfully admits that she is. Eric is furious that Brooke could do that to Bridget (who is his daughter as well). After he calms down, Brooke tells Eric which people know Hope's real paternity: Stephanie, Massimo, Bridget and Deacon. Deacon is the dangerous one of the group. He wants Brooke back, and he's willing to divulge her secret to Ridge in order to prevent him from having her. Elsewhere in Italy, Thorne visits Sally's hotel room, demanding to know where Macy is. Little does he know that Macy paid her mother a visit not long before and that she's still in the room, hiding in the closet. Written by J. Spurlin

Eric Forrester: No, no, Brooke, no. The next words I hear out of your mouth I want to be "Deacon Sharpe is not the father of my baby." Say it.
Brooke Logan: I can't.
Eric Forrester: Ah, God. It's true. You slept with our daughter's husband. Didn't you? Answer me!
Brooke Logan: Yes.
