The title makes it sound like a bad 1980s BBC sitcom, but the this action comedy blockbuster, due out in summer 2010, is probably Cruise and Diaz's best chance to regain box-office cred
Take a look at any "most anticipated movies of 2010" list online and you'll see a familiar collection of sequels and remakes and adaptations. But there's one big summer movie that the list-makers seem to have ignored so far – the Tom Cruise/Cameron Diaz action comedy Knight & Day.
This wouldn't have happened a few years ago. Earlier in the decade, the hype surrounding a high-kicking blockbuster starring Minority Report's Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz from Charlie's Angels would have been building since the moment it started filming. As it is, the past three days have seen a poster and a teaser trailer launched to almost no fanfare whatsoever.

Kevin Jonas, the eldest member of the pop band, Jonas Brothers, wed longtime girlfriend Danielle Deleasa in Long Island Saturday December 19th. The fairy tale nuptials took place at the luxurious Oheka Castle in posh Huntington, Long Island. Kevin supplied his fiancé with the perfect Disney fairytale wedding -- but with white out conditions and two feet of snow piling down, would Mother Nature crash the party? The fairytale began last July when Kevin Jonas, who was on tour, flew home to New Jersey to surprise his girlfriend Danielle. Kevin showed up on Danielle's doorstep with a three-carat diamond promoting an immediate yes response from the bride to be. The couple who met in 2007 while both separately vacationing in The Bahamas began to plan their fairy tale wedding. Amidst all the planning, cake sampling, and dress fittings, there was one thing the couple did not take into account, Mother Nature.

Now, before you read any further realize some of what is described going forward may be considered a bit salty for workplace or sensitive consumption, but considering we are discussing the content of an MPAA approved trailer it can't be too bad? Right? Well let's find out...
Today the trailer for Jennifer Lopez's upcoming film The Back-Up Plan, in which her character wants to become a mother and decides to go the route of artificial insemination, debuted online. This is where the discussion comes in based on the question posed in the headline, and also where I am going to hand it off to the perceptive eyes of Vince over at Film Drunk. According to reports, Kevin and fiancée Danielle Deleasa will tie the knot in Long Island on Saturday.

Back in July, Kevin Jonas asked longtime girlfriend Danielle Deleasa to marry him. She said yes and fans everywhere knew there was one less Jonas brother they had a chance with. And according to several online reports — which the group's rep had not confirmed to MTV News at press time — Jonas and Deleasa will marry on Saturday.
E! News reported that the pair will tie the knot on Saturday at the same castle in Long Island where 'Nsync's Joey Fatone got married, and where scenes from Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher's "What Happens in Vegas" were filmed.

Nearly two months after his mother Denise Jonas publicly confirmed that he has set wedding date, Kevin Jonas is reported to marry fiancee Danielle Deleasa in a ceremony to be held in Long Island this weekend. Radar Online exclusively reports, the pair will exchange wedding vows at Oheka Castle on Saturday, December 19. The reported venue has previously hosted the nuptials of Nsync's singer Joey Fatone as well as scenes from Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher's 2008 film "What Happens in Vegas...".
Wedding rehearsal is planned for Friday, December 18. Disney actress-singer Demi Lovato, who has been friends with Kevin, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas, is confirmed to be among the invited guests. Radar Online reports, guests will be treated to "a wide range of choices including filet mignon, sea bass, chicken and a vegetable tart." In related news, E! News claims Kevin and Danielle will have Pedestals Florist arranging the blooms for the big day.

There are some pretty great, and some pretty awful movie titles out there. From something long like Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, some titles just don’t work. Luckily, a few good screenwriters feel the same way, and bring us Hot Tub Time Machine.
The premise sounds pretty much like bliss once you hear the names involved. Four guys decide to bond on a ski trip and party hard all night on Red Bull and Vodka. They continue the night in the house’s hot tub, which transports them to 1986, where hi-jinks then ensue.
The aforementioned names involved are John Cusack, Craig Robinson (The Office, Zach and Miri Make a Porno), Clark Duke (Sex Drive, Superbad), and Rob Corddry (What Happens in Vegas, Harold and Kumar 2). The film basically looks like The Hangover meets Back to the Future, with a little

Christopher Walken and South Park's Cartman aren't the only ones who love Lady Gaga's 'Poker Face.'
The Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas will use her hit song in their latest ad campaign.
Which is amusing since we only recently found out that the song is about her fantasizing about having sex with women while making love to her boyfriend. What happens in Vegas, gets fantasized about?The ad, which finishes with the slogan "Show Us Your Poker Face", focuses on the resort's exciting features, including the Playboy Club and Fantasy Towers.
Palms owner George Maloof said; "We feel that this is a special and unique opportunity to connect the Palms brand with one of the most respected and talented artists of our time."
Respected and talented to be sure. Also controversial.
On Barbara Walters show this week, Lady admitted she fantasized about women whilst making love to her ex-boyfriend.

I don't know for certain, but I'm pretty sure Cameron Diaz is no longer getting $15 - $20 million per movie the
way she was a few years ago. She's only had one major hit (What Happens in Vegas) in the past half-decade, so the points to
not being able to open a movie. And if you can't open a movie, they don't give you that kind of money.
To compensate, Diaz has become much busier of late. She has Knight & Day - which is the retitled Wichita - an action
comedy with Tom Cruise, Green Hornet, which smells like a big flop in the making, and Shrek Forever After, which
doesn't really count in the calibration of her box office reliability. She just added another film, described as a raunchy comedy by
Variety, that's written by Gene Stupnisky and Lee Eisenberg of The Office.

Cameron Diaz can do sweet romantic comedies like "The Holiday" and tearjerker dramas like "My Sister's Keeper" and even the occasional period piece like "Gangs of New York," but her true calling has always been raunchy comedy. Now, to add to her gross-out work in "There's Something About Mary" and "The Sweetest Thing," the actress will star in Columbia Pictures' "Bad Teacher," according to Variety.
Jake Kasdan, who last gave us "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story," is directing the comedy, about a "foulmouthed, gold-digging middle-school teacher," who battles with another faculty member for dibs on a hot co-worker. The idea of a fought-over "model teacher" makes me imagine "Glee" star Matthew Morrison as the male lead, but that will never happen.
What makes "Bad Teacher" sound more appealing than, say, "What Happens in Vegas?" is that the script was written by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, of TV's

When she first became famous, Cameron Diaz was one of the funniest actresses out there, willing to dance in underoos for McG or use some unfortunate hair gel in There's Something About Mary. Sadly, that risk-taking eventually turned into more princessy roles, recoiling with horror at Ashton Kutcher's dirty ways in What Happens in Vegas or signing on, for some reason, to the ridiculous My Sister's Keeper.
But is it too late to get the fearless Cameron back? Maybe not! Variety is reporting that Diaz will star for Sony in Bad Teacher, a comedy about "a foul-mouthed, gold-digging middle-school teacher who, after getting dumped by her boyfriend, competes with a colleague for the affections of the school's model teacher." As so many of the other posts here on MTV Movies Blog today already did today, I'm first going to remind you that "New Moon" is now in theaters. See, it's kind of a big deal. And as you might imagine, we have vampires on the brain as a result.
Now even the most rabid Twilighter will tell you that Stephenie Meyer's series isn't for everyone. The phenomenon has definitely grown beyond the core audience of teenage girls, but there are still those who prefer to see their blood-suckers swimming in entrails and terrorizing and unknowing public. On Sunday The Film Experience's Nathaniel Rogers brought me along to a dinner in honor of (500) Days of Summer, where both the cast and writers and director were on hand to schmooze with various writers and industry people who have the power to influence the movie's Oscar chances (let me be clear, I was just a guest-- no one thinks that of me). While Nathaniel and I didn't wind up eating alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt or anything, we did luck out and somehow sit down at a table with Amy Heckerling, the Clueless director who also recently directed Nathaniel's favorite actress, Michelle Pfeiffer, in the straight-to-dvd I Could Never Be Your Woman.

Harrison Ford is, and always will be, the man. Unfortunately, that doesn't change the fact that his career has been sputtering for some time now (Indiana Jones notwithstanding), and with his latest film Extraordinary Measures, it seems unlikely that he is going to reclaim the audience that has been slowly slipping away from him. The movie co-stars Brendan Fraser, and while I might have been interested if this was a buddy comedy (ha!), instead we have a serious drama about a father looking for someone to help him cure his children of a rare genetic disorder. Just look at that picture... even these guys can't believe they ended up in this movie.
