The trams in the movie came into service in late 90's. Trams in the late 1980s had half-sliding doors, and central command.

When Bebe takes Otilia on a detour to his neighborhood, a few Dacia cars have rear and front bumpers, which were introduced in 1994. The mirror on Bebe's car is also post-1990.

At the hotel restaurant, Otilia asks for a bottle of mineral water, but the waiter brings her only a glass.

When at the dinner table, Adi's mother claims to have gotten blue Easter eggs by mixing yellow dye with green dye. Blue is a primary color and cannot be obtained from mixing any other colors. (Green, however, can be obtained by mixing blue and yellow.)

Continuity 

Adrian Daminescu's "Si m-am indragostit de tine" can be heard playing downstairs when Otilia is outside of the hotel room, checking on Gabita. The song is in the same place when she suddenly appears downstairs to talk to the hotel matron.
