Review: 'Mike Tyson Mysteries' Proves That Iron Mike Isn't Afraid to Dress Himself Down

17 October 2014 1:58 PM, PDT | ShadowAndAct | See recent ShadowAndAct news »

I’m sure Mike Tyson is the last person that many expected to appear on Adult Swim in any capacity, especially in an animated Hanna-Barbera-style mystery show. And yet, when he’s running through the desert of Cormac McCarthy’s ranch attempting to lay the beatdown on La Chupacabra while being chased by his adopted Korean daughter, the Ghost of the Marquess of Queensberry, and a foul-mouthed pigeon, the question becomes why no one thought to bring this to series before. Between high profile marriages and divorces, constant run-ins with the law, and being the former heavyweight boxing champion of the world, Tyson was a celebrity of the highest order in his heyday in the 1970s and 80s, drawing »

Set to premiere October 27 on – where else? – Adult Swim, it's very bit as odd as you'd imagine, though even that might be selling it short. »

10 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Street Fighter

16 September 2014 5:21 AM, PDT | Obsessed with Film | See recent Obsessed with Film news »

Capcom

Street Fighter I wasn’t the most popular of games. It was dull, linear and very difficult. Regardless, Capcom decided to go ahead with a sequel anyway and created one of the most important video games of all time. It’s rare that a game is so groundbreaking that it creates an entire genre by itself, but Street Fighter II arguably did just that. With its revolutionary combo mechanics, wide roster of characters and perfection of multi-player fighting, Street Fighter II subsequently led to the birth of several other significant fighting series. The thing is, several of the innovations that came about in Street Fighter II weren’t down to just genius, but luck, consequence and timing were also relevant factors.

Certain events, stories and details of Street Fighter’s production process have become common knowledge over the years, yet, there’s still a surprising amount that even the »

Chris Brown to Ray Rice: 'It's All About How You Push Forward'

The singer is still dealing with fallout from assaulting Rihanna in 2009.

More than five years after the fact, Chris Brown is still facing fallout from his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna. So it stands to reason that he'd have words for Ray Rice in the wake of his NFL suspension.

Rice was officially cut from the Baltimore Ravens this week after a video leaked in which he could be seen assaulting his then-fiancee, now wife Janay Rice. A lot of people have had a lot of opinions on the matter (including Janay herself), and now Brown is chiming in.

"I think it's all about the choices you make," Brown told MTV News' Sway Calloway when asked what he had learned from his own experience. "With me, I deal with a lot of anger issues from my past – not knowing how to express myself verbally and at the same time not knowing how to cope with my emotions »

Boxer Mike Tyson went off on Toronto's CP24 reporter Nathan Downer during a live interview Wednesday afternoon after the reporter mentioned Tyson's rape conviction.

Downer brought up that the former athlete had met up with Toronto Mayor Rob Ford on Tuesday and asked Tyson whether he thought his criminal record could damage the reputation of the mayor (who admitted to smoking crack during "one of [his] drunken stupors").

Tyson seemed calm at first, but what came out of his mouth proved that the news host really got under his skin.

"You're being negative," he told Downer, later adding, "You're really a piece of s--t. F--k you!"
