Trivia

Towards the end of the episode, inside the Ghostfacers' garage, a poster reading "Coven" can be seen on the inside of the door. Coven is the short film directed by Mark Borchart whose production is depicted in the 1999 documentary, "American Movie," a cult favorite. See more »

Goofs

Some of the camera angles where "Maggie" is supposed to be holding the camera are wrong. She's shorter than any of the guys and during cutaways we can see she's holding the camera at about the level of her own chin, but her camera's footage shows it's clearly being held on the shoulder of a cameraman who is taller than "Ed" and "Harry". Better than Blair Witch
27 April 2008 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

I have never laughed so hard and felt so creeped out in the same episode before. Actually, I don't think I've ever been that scared watching an episode of Supernatural before! I love this show, it's my absolute favorite on air right now, but it's never given me the heebee geebee's like that! I think the whole hand held camera element is what did it, because Blair Witch and all the ghost hunting reality series that this episode tips it's hat to have given me similar chills. But it was worse this time around because I'm invested in Sam and Dean's well-being (lol)! After "Bad Day at Black Rock" and "Mystery Spot" I didn't expect to laugh so hard again...least not this season, but I was pleasantly surprised! Bravo to the Supernatural team that put this gem together! Standing Ovation!
