Storyline

When Sam and Dean investigate the disappearance of a man who was looking into a tourist attraction known as "The Mystery Spot" -- where the laws of physics don't apply -- Sam is thrown into a repeating loop, living the same day over and over, and watching Dean die each time in a different way as Sam avoids the method that killed him the last time. Goofs

The episode is supposed to take place in "Broward" county and there are potted palm trees on the street as Dean and Sam walk from the diner to the Mystery Spot. But it never gets cold enough in Broward County, Florida, to see one's breath, at least not during the daylight hours. See more »

Huge Favor to Ask Mr. Kripke...

Mystery Spot...great episode...but once again we must give homage to the X-Files episode "Monday". Nevermind Groundhog Day! The only complaint I have is you spoiled the surprise by having Richard Speight, Jr.'s name in the beginning credits. Once I saw his name I said "That's how they're going to pull this off. They're going to put the trickster behind it all!" I loved the idea but I would have loved it more if I were SURPRISED! And one more thing. Stop killing off all the cool characters. Let's all have a moment of silence for those that are gone too soon...Ash (Chad Lindberg)...Scott Carey (Richard deKlerk)...Casey (Sasha Barrese)...Meg (Nicki Aycox)...Gordon Walker (Sterling K. Brown)...and most recently...Henrickson (Charles Malik Whitfield)...and Peter DeLuise! How could you kill off Peter DeLuise! The Dom's son! Shame on you! Have you no respect! You could make up for these "poor" decisions by bringing back...Jenny (Christine Chatelain) and Kate (Anne Openshaw) and while you're at it, bring back Det. Diana Ballard a/k/a the great Linda Blair. And my final comment is the character Bela is really coming along, especially in Jus in Bello episode. She really is mean. And who doesn't love Katie Cassidy? Just being David Cassidy's daughter makes her royalty in my book. Keep up the great work. I enjoy this show so much...can you tell?
