Quotes

[Amazon trucker Sissy mounts comatose Earl and puts his hands on her breasts, not knowing she's being peeped on]
Sissy: So where were we, lover?
Catalina: Oh, snap!
Joy Turner: [to Catalina] Oh, hell no. You are not gonna try to steal that.
Randy Hickey: [breaks in] Get yo' boobs off my brother!
Sissy: Please don't take him from me. God left him to me on the front of my truck. He usually just leaves me bugs and birds. Anyway, you can't take him from me. We already exchanged vows.

Earl's journey to hospital with "help" from his friends
8 April 2008 | by (New Zealand) – See all my reviews

This episode is more of a slapstick type farce than many of the better, well scripted episodes we come to expect from "My Name is Earl". After Earl is hit by a car in the previous episode he is taken to hospital by Randy and the other usual characters. In his unconscious state he imagines himself in a 50's type sitcom, with events in the outside world affecting his imaginings in his mind. This results in half the episode being written like a 50's sitcom, complete with lots of canned laughter etc. The jokes are of a similar style - well dated. This is not one of the better episodes, perhaps this is something to do with the Hollywood writers strike?
