Cool customer and a cold fish
15 November 2014 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

The death of a popular dentist in Harlem starts to an investigation which leads to some tainted mouthwash put out by a pharmaceutical company. The dentist is smothered in his office chair after he's been left helpless by nitrous oxide administered by an angry mom who thinks her dead son may have been molested after he was put under.

But several others in the Harlem neighborhood were also poisoned with the mouthwash which is alcoholic only it is tainted alcohol. It's never meant to be ingested, but a cheap high can be obtained if you ingest. It usually doesn't kill.

And then Jason Kravits who is a health department inspector and by all accounts a scrupulously honest one is also poisoned. The road really points to the company and the wagons circle.

Vincent Donofrio and Kathryn Erbe have to deal with a company executive who is a real cool customer and a cold fish. The executive even turns whistleblower but only to throw the blame on others.

Nicely solved by Bobby Goren's attention to detail.
