Ho Sakta Hai! (2004)
Mohan is a medical student who lives in the United States. One day, he receives a strange phone call from his grandfather asking him to come back to his native village in India. Once he arrives, he finds out that his brother and sister-in-aw have mysteriously disappeared. Moreover, his little cousin Tanaji survived, but is behaving very strangely: he never speaks a word, gets up in the middle of the night, sometimes suddenly turns cold, and mistreats his toys. Mohan tries to solve the mystery, but fails to find a rational explanation for all the creepy things that happen. Everything points in the direction of the caretaker's wife, Parvati, who performs rituals of black magic.- Written by Jan van Steenbergen
New York based Dr. Mohan lives in a common-law relationship with Claire. He returns home to Kethwadi Village in Maharashtra, India, after a period of 15 years so that he could open a hospital in Mumbai with his grandfather's assistance. Upon arrival he is shocked to find his brother, Mandhar and his wife, Snehal - missing; his traumatized nephew, Tanaji, is unable to speak; the police believe they were victims of human sacrifice; his grandfather lives in the past; while the wife, Parvati, of their employee, Viju, has undertaken a seven-day fast to appease Devi Maa Kali in a bid to purportedly take over the body and soul of Tanaji.- Written by rAjOo (firstname.lastname@example.org)
