From the finding of a coin bearing the picture of a star over a ram (king) Bob Brier's researched into the biblical story of the Wise men who followed the star to find Jesus the king of the Jews. He was able to prove through the help of an Astrologist that a star (Jupiter)was over Bethlehem on 17th April 6BC then traveled through the astrological ram to Persia and returned along the same route to Bethlem 8 months later on 19th Dec giving credence to the Bible story of the Birth of Jesus,the Bible tells us that the wise men carried gifts to the child, unfortunately people have changed the story over the years declaring that the kings arrived at the stable at Jesus's birth, the Bible does not tell us this only the shepherds were there at the time. Bob asked the question why would Herod have had all the children up to the age of two years old murdered if Jesus was a new born?
