Walter Koenig doesn't shy away from a challenge. Writing scripts is a tough gig. Getting movies produced, especially indie fare; not so easy. Writer-producer Koenig, however, waged -- and won -- a near-decade-long battle to bring InAlienable (2010) to the screen. A sci-fi thriller and legal drama, InAlienable follows the plight of a guilt-ridden scientist, Dr. Norris (Richard Hatch), who gives birth to an alien-human hybrid child, a child that then becomes the focal point of a legal case over whether it's a living entity with rights or an abomination that must be destroyed. Koenig -- beloved by millions of fans worldwide for his portrayal of Chekov in the original-cast Star Trek series and features -- co-stars in the film as Dr. Norris's bitter boss, Shilling, while other familiar genre names include Gary Graham, Marina Sirtis, Alan Ruck, Erick Avari, Richard Herd, and Courtney Peldon. InAlienable is both horror and science fiction in one. Walter Koening (Star Trek) scripted the film, produced it, and stars in this Renegade Studios production. InAlienable has just been released on DVD as of January twenty-sixth and this alien styled thriller involves a man hosting an alien parasite in his body. This creature gives birth to his son that could potentially become the end of the human race. InAlienable stars Walter Koenig, Richard Hatch (Battlestar Galactica), Erik Avari (Flight of the Living Dead), Marina Sirtis (Star Trek Voyager, Lesser of Three Evils) and Alan Ruck (Ghost Town). This mostly independent film was shot for a mere two million dollars, but from Slice of Sci-Fi InAlienable is "A brilliant piece of...work (Slice)." Have a look at a trailer inside and have closer look at the film through the Anchor Bay Entertainment website (distributor)."
