Dingdong Dantes and Iza Calzado' were supposed to play the lead roles in this movie which was hatched right after the box-office success of GMA Films' Moments of Love. The team-up of Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras was also expected to be included. However, the production decided to cast the four stars in Eternity. When Eternity bombed in the box-office, the movie was temporarily shelved.

Very much typical of Filipino drama

There is nothing really wrong with typical Filipino drama. Some people said it was funny and indeed it has its moments where character say and do things that absolutely makes no sense. But sometimes I wondered if all of the the funny moments weren't by accident.

The story never truly explains itself. How the father died, why the mom died so suddenly, how Jeff got a girlfriend in Taiwan, etc etc. It was only revealed later that he was in Taiwan for four years - and it only took up 10 minutes of the film. In other words, the time-line was truly inadequate on many levels.

Despite the many storyline flaws, it was watchable at a few points. The over-drama with Kat and her decisions was sometimes painful to watch. But at other times, the drama was well done. Sort of a mixed bag.

Overall, the acting is alright and on par with average U.S. films. But the storyline is flawed and lacked depth. But it is somewhat enjoyable. "C+"
