Vic found a way back to go and visit Antwon Mitchell , what a surprise. We get an awesome starter to this episode. Although we have to thank Antwon for sending Vic the right way ! This is also the last time we are gonna see Anthony Anderson who were left to create another half of the fictional world of Farmington. I love how he phara phrased his every line in style !
Shane leaving the club house and Vic starts doubting him about the grenades stash they were raiding , so Ronnie really doesn't want him to think like this but they do it anyway TO count Shane out, what really is great about this scene it comes back for in the middle of the episode , Ronnie confirming that the count was right but they didn't know that Shane took a grenade before they were stashed for counting so just before Aceveda sent a false smoke signal to Vic about Lem shutting up in '' Postpartum ''.
This episode culminates with Vic confronting Shane about the grenade count and Kavanaugh's last report about their surveillance in that night when Lem had to run. There is a neat special feature on DVD about this whole scene. I expected all my emotions when I first saw this live on television, Michael Chiklis and Walton Goggins gave their everything in here.
So Vic and Shane are both at the wrong, Shane did what he had to ? Cause he thought Lem took a deal. He was wrong and hell Vic is justifying Terry's death right here and now again ! Now it is too late for Shane too, if dealing with Antwon Mitchell wasn't enough, killing Lem was betrayal to Vic. Aceveda really pulled a nose on Vic and fooled him to doubt his own man Lemansky about the '' deal he made '' but there was no deal, it stayed the same. Martyn is from city control and links to Aceveda, His daughter was into injecting heroin, now the media is pushing in to the story and Aceveda wants the strike team handle it discreetly. Vic has a great memorable line about this '' We find out the truth first and then decide what to do with it ''. So as we know Vic he probably gonna use it to his own advantage somehow. As now on Julien is part of the strike team and with his replacement Hiatt he can't let his corrupt facade slip for them.
