Fun with Ann and the girls
5 October 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This episode is a remake of an earlier story called 'The Reunion' from Sothern's previous sitcom, Private Secretary. However, in the original version, Sothern's character lacks self-esteem and doesn't think her life compares to her old girlfriends. This time around, her girlfriends envy her great life.

The girls are played by Janis Paige and Jeff Donnell. Supposedly, they have not been in touch with each other in many years. It is mentioned that Edith/Piper (Paige's character) is in town on a promotional tour and that she bumped into Helen (Donnell's character) at Cartier's. They decided to look up Katy (Ann Sothern), so the '3 Musketeers' could get together again.

Later, when Katy is visiting Edith/Piper in Hollywood, several celebrities' names are mentioned. We are to believe she is at a pool party attended by Rock Hudson, Cary Grant, Clark Gable, Elvis Presley, Hedda Hopper and Louella Parsons.
