Episode three brings out more of Grace's soft, loving side along with the show's sense of humor. Her scenes with her nephew are adorable. I continue to enjoy watching Earl work with Grace on her faith. The conflicts between Grace and her brother increase, and we begin to see more of the source of the friction.
Ham has moved back home, but life with Darleen does not seem to be much better for him. He remains conflicted about his relationship with Grace.
Interestingly, two actresses who made appearances on "The Shield" (which starred Kenny Johnson--Ham--) appear in this episode. It was strange to see them all together in different roles!!
