“Tom’s creative instincts are impeccable – he has an amazing talent for spotting great content and turning it into compelling television,” Stein said. “His personal network of writers, directors, actors, broadcasters, agents, authors and others will have a huge impact on our ability to fast track a steady pipeline of original productions.”

In his new role, Patricia will oversee the development and production of Sonar’s programming. The company is currently at work on “South of Hell” with Eli Roth for We TV and “Shannara” for MTV, which are both scheduled for bows in 2015. To start with the good news, Sasha Roiz will be back on TV every week this fall. His new show, Grimm, has been picked up to series by NBC. Spoiler TV has the first still from the pilot, which was written and exec produced by David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, and we'll probably get more details about the show after the upfronts. Silas Weir Mitchell (Prison Break), Sasha Roiz (Caprica) and Kate Burton also star. The bad news from NBC is that 17th Precinct didn't make the cut. Not much to add that hasn't been said at the Battlestar Blog.

David E. Kelley's take on Wonder Woman hasn't been picked up either.
