A masterpiece!

Let me emphasize this: Portuguese television is very poor and awful! The telenovelas/shows are all about the same and there's no variety! The telenovelas are corny and the shows are very boring! I mean, there's some good shows/telenovelas but they're really really rare! And, don't get me wrong, I like watching Portuguese television but I can't find a viable show! Well, finally I see something different! Something really interesting and original! A show that isn't corny or boring! And what makes this show, "Conta-me como foi", a masterpiece? The argument! The cast! The image! The costumes! The furniture! Here's all my opinion about the show: ~

1.The argument is very well written! It talks about the Portuguese society in the end of the 60s, which is a very interesting time in Portuguese story! I learned a lot with this show!

2.The cast! Miguel Guilherme stars the show, he's a very good actor, a professional, really! Rita Blanco shows how good she is, I think she did a very good job! I'm really surprised with the young Luís Ganito, he's very talented! Catarina Avelar and Rita Brutt are very good actresses... the cast is excellent and I can't judge badly any actor.

3.What an excellent idea! Some scenes of the show are in black and white and it makes it more realistic and original, at the same time! It's very good to remember the times when television was black and white.

4.The costumes are completely marvelous! The details... all so well designed!

5.The furniture! If you look well to the scenaries you'll see that the furniture is so gorgeous! Sometimes I watch this with my parents and they are all the time saying: "Look at the furniture!", it portrays very well the end of the 60s in Portugal.

Watch this, you won't be disappointed.
