Who Gets Splintered? - A Psycho, Werewolf or a Ghost....
5 May 2012 | by See all my reviews

This is a horror movie with enough surprising twists that left me impressed.

The horror is not so much in-your-face but it's there. It's gradual yet strong. As each scene unfolds, you also notice how your assumptions of what happens next keep breaking. The unpredictability is cool!

Some really good performances from the actors like Stephen Walters, James Roach(excellent!), Holly Weston, Sacha Dhawan, Sadie Pickering......

The direction is good and also the visuals & music are fine. With regard to the story, yes I appreciate how the moments go contrary to your usual expectations but sometimes things feel unconvincing especially moments where our innocent victims escape too easily from their stalker and in some scenes, they just fall right into his lap!

Verdict: Still a thumbs up because it's different & splinters your guesses.... :)
