Did You Know?

Casey tells Benson and Stabler about a case where a woman who was having an affair got caught with the other man "in the act" by her husband. The woman panicked and cried rape, so the husband killed the other man. Casey says that the woman was indicted for manslaughter, and the husband walked. This is a reference to an actual case in Arlington, Texas in 2007. See more »

At the start a sniper is seen placing his scope to his eye. This is wrong because to see through the scope you need to place you eye slightly behind the scope as recoil will push the rifle back into your eye. See more »

Harry/Cougar: [girl in blonde ponytail is running slowly through woods in the sights of a gun and a man prepares to shoot her] Prepare to die, bitch.
[he is hit with red paint and cries out]
Harry/Cougar: Awww, dammit!
Man in woods: Gotcha, Harry.
Harry/Cougar: [walks through woods] Squad leader, this is Cougar; I'm hit.
Squad Leader: Uh, roger that. Proceed to the nearest launch point and return to battle. Over.
[Victim's dead body comes into Harry's view]
Harry/Cougar: Oh, my God!
[talks into walkie talkie]
Harry/Cougar: Squad leader, I found a body.

Street Urchins get organized
15 November 2012 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

This particular episode has the SVU squad dealing with a Dickensian like family of street urchins who are under the sway of a charismatic, but psychotic Fagin played by Thom Bishops. Fagin only organized his gang to pick pockets and cut purses. Bishops deals in murder and the murder of a débutante brings the SVU squad in.

Bishops has a female Nancy played by Mae Whitman as a second in command, but he's as psychotic with her as he is with the world in general. Come to think of it this Fagin is actually more like Bill Sikes.

Eventually Bishops is arrested and Diane Neal is prosecuting him with Whitman as the key witness. But that's far from the end of this story. Whitman is not all she seems and I'll leave it at that.

Oliver Twist never ran with a crew like this.
