Carrie Heffernan: Doug, I don't understand. You eat fast food two, three times a week. It never occurred to you that animals are involved?
Doug Heffernan: Because they don't make it look like an animal! They're very clever that way.

great episode
23 February 2010 | by (Seattle, WA) – See all my reviews

This episode is hilarious. for 9 seasons, we have known doug as the biggest pizza eating, fried chicken eating, hamburger eating machine in queens. I mean he regularly entered chicken wing eating contests and won. so in this brilliant idea of an episode, he accidentally hits a chicken with his car, and feels so bad he decides to become a vegetarian. but what is so funny is how he gets so into it, he goes way way overboard and turns into this super sensitive left wing extreme type vegetarian who goes around lecturing people about what their eating. the reaction of his friends and carrie are priceless. I feel this is such an excellent acting job by kevin james, he turns into another person and pulls it off. to me so sad that this show had to end, it could have gone on for more years and been just fine. to have a show this funny so late in the series shows how good it really was. IMHO be sure to catch this one!
