"Take Me to the Free Range"
26 April 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Delightful comedy with a Meg Ryan feel! Creative concept skillfully executed by refreshing young actors. Of all the shorts in this comedic genre shown at the Newport Beach Film Festival, this film's quote, "take me to the free range," lingers on. The visual image of the pairings at the end of the film also stick in your head and make you smile! And underneath all the comedy are several subtle, important messages to ponder about sisters, conformity, love, and sex.

Great shots and editing as well. The colors in this film stand out as especially suited to the mood.

All in all, "Saving Sam" is well written, well acted, well done!
