Storyline

The firemen put out the blaze, and carry out Matthew to his anxious mother. The police are immediately suspicious about the matches found near him. That night, Robbie has a vivid nightmare about the thugs involved with the pub brawl. Aichaa's mother gives her an interrogation about her friendship with Robbie. News of Matthew's arson gets back to school, and Mr. Mackenzie goes to visit the Pearsons. It becomes apparent Matthew set fire to the hotel in order that the council would re-house his family. Mike gets an early copy of the local paper - courtesy of the eager Mr. Hargreaves - with his photo prominent. Mike buys one of the specially made t-shirts with a caricature of the Deputy Head on it in retaliation. Mr. Robson sees and it is confiscated. A rumour starts spreading that Miss Booth has been sacked. A fight breaks out in the canteen and Mr. Robson intervenes, but he is berated by Mr Hargreaves who tells him that he had it under control.
