Storyline

Susan and Mike finally get engaged after he proposes to her in an unusual way, while Gabrielle has a similar approach with Victor. But after Gabrielle and Susan flip out over Gabby "stealing" Susan's wedding, they make up by offering a double ceremony. But Susan has second thoughts, and Victor tells Gabrielle that he won't stand for it, so his wedding plans still remain up in the air. Meanwhile, Lynnette reveals she had feelings for Rick, after Tom tries to con her into a couples therapy session with a friend. Also, Edie tries to convince Carlos that they should be living together, and Edie yet again turns on her devious side to ensue he does what she wants. Written by Moviedude1

Quotes

[Lynette and Tom aren't talking at all at breakfast]
Parker Scavo: Are you mad at daddy?
Lynette Scavo: No. Why would you think that?
Parker Scavo: Cause you're not talking to him.
Lynette Scavo: Well you know two people who have known each other as long as mommy and daddy ahve, they don't have to always talk, in fact a sign of a good relationship is being comfortable in silence.
Tom Scavo: That's true, although mommy ignoring me last night at work wasn't exactly what I call comfortable.
Lynette Scavo: Well daddy probably didn't notice that I was unloading twenty-pound bags of ...

A Humorous Penultimate Episode
3 June 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In "What Would We Do Without You?",Susan and Mike have finally become engaged. It happens one year exactly from the time Mike got involved in a hit and run accident. She gets angry though when she realized that Gabrielle has stolen her cancelled wedding from her and Ian to be able to get hitched with Victor. As for Lynette, she refused to speak to Tom.Her husband is trying to save their marriage at all cost but nothing seems to work. Finally,we get to see Edie is also trying to save her relationship with Carlos the same way Tom is doing for his marriage.

This was definitely a humorous episode. The fight between Susan and Gabrielle, the marriage counselling that Tom and Lynette have gone through and Edie's manipulation as she tries to be with Carlos but she is secretly trying to prevent herself from getting pregnant by taking contraceptive pills. It was definitely a good penultimate episode.Everyone would definitely look forward for the final episode of Season 3 next week.
