In the aftermath of Victor's election as mayor of Fairview, Gabrielle is led to believe she has a new-found power, but unwisely uses it to try to avoid getting a parking ticket and winds up getting arrested. Lynnette and Rick find out just how powerless they are when the pizzeria is robbed and they're forced to spend the night together trying to stay warm in a locked cooler. Tom, on the other hand, figures there's something going on between the two of them when he sees the surveillance tape from the robbery and therefore, threatens Rick and his job. Susan, having lost Ian, turns to find Mike who has gone on a hiking trip, and being crazy and klutzy as always, she literally gets lost in the woods. Back in Fairview, just when Carlos bonds more with Travers, Edie's ex-husband, Charles, arrives wanting to take the boy home with him and Edie tries to prevent it from happening. Susan Searches Mike Into The Woods
1 June 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Why is this episode entitled,"Into The Woods".Simple.Susan goes into the woods to try to find Mike after getting into a big fight with him. After making a choice between him and Ian in the previous episode, she has to stick to that decision until make sure that he loves her in return.I felt that this made the story somewhat corny since many viewers wanted Susan and Ian to end up together.Too bad that they didn't.Too bad that this storyline did not appeal to lot of people.

As for Gabrielle, she too gets into an argument. But not with Victor but with a meter man who gave her a parking ticket. With her fiancé being the elected mayor, she uses her connection to teach the meter man a lesson. But in the process, she discovers a dark secret about him.We discover a lot of secrets are being revealed in this season. LOL

After Scavo pizzeria is robbed,Tom becomes suspicious of Lynette being attracted to Rick.He wants him to quit.As for Rick,he and Lynette tries to resolve the issue with one another by confronting their feelings with one another. Both decided not to pursue any relationship.I think that settles everything for now.Too bad that the writers needed some sort of a passionate love story that would involve Lynette the same way they did with the other characters. But I felt that it was somewhat half-baked.

Meanwhile,Edie's former husband visits her and wants to take Travers. This spurs Carlos an emotion of jealousy towards her and wants to end their relationship. Will the ex-husband who is going to visit her son every week provide another restoration of relationship that one character that is involved in like Susan did? What about the tension it would provide to both Edie and Carlos? It remains to be seen.

That's all for now so far.Overall,it was a better-than-average episode.
