While at Mipcom to present his first TV show, “No Second Chance,” popular American crime novelist Harlan Coben sat with Variety to discuss the new direction that his career is taking. The writer is back in France for “No Second Chance,” almost a decade after teaming with Guillaume Canet on the French adaptation of his book “Tell No One,” which turned out to be a hit in Gaul and abroad. When ICM last repped her, she starred in the iconic Buffy The Vampire Slayer TV series, and feature films including Cruel Intentions and The Grudge. She's still managed by Joanne Colonna at Brillstein Entertainment Partners. Leaving CAA to go back to ICM agent Brian Bunnin is Kevin Zegers, who had a breakout performance in Transamerica and whose other credits include 50 Dead Men Walking, The Perfect Age Of Rock 'N Roll, The Jane Austen Book Club, Normal, and The Narrows. He's still managed by Jason Weinberg and Justin Grey Stone at Untitled.

Sophia Bush has revealed her admiration for "Broken Embraces" actress Penelope Cruz. Speaking in an interview for the latest issue of Ok! Magazine, the "One Tree Hill" star claimed, "Penelope Cruz is so sensual and beautiful without ever being vulgar. She's stunning to me. I think she's our modern-day Sophia Lauren."

Beside gushing about Cruz, the depicter of Brooke Davis in the The CW's show admitted her crushes on other female Hollywood celebs. "Cate Blanchett is the best thing since sliced bread to me. She amazes me with her choices in her career and in fashion. I really think she's amazing," she went on detailing. "I also really admire wonderful, kind of quirky beauties like Zooey Deschanel, who always owns her own little thing."

Kevin Zegers has joined the cast of "Gossip Girl" for a multi-episode arc.

He will play Damien, an international bad-boy love interest to Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen).

Zegers, who starred opposite Felicity Huffman in "TransAmerica," was recently seen in "50 Dead Men Walking" and "The Narrows."

'Narrows' to bow with live Q&A

'Narrows' to bow with live Q&A
Cinedigm Digital Cinema will host what it's billing as the first-ever live virtual Q&A between a film cast and theater audiences nationwide as a part of the June 19 opening-night of the feature film "The Narrows."

Francois Velle's film, which premired at last year's Toronto International Film Festival, stars Kevin Zegers, Vincent D'Onofrio and Sophia Bush, who will participate in the Q&A from New York, where they will answer in real-time audience questions submitted via text message as well as questions submitted prior to the event via Facebook.

The live Q&A will be simulcast to selected theaters across the country via satellite transmission using Cinedigm's proprietary CineLive technology, which was used for Bcs Championship and NBA All Star games earlier this year. Approximately 6,000 theaters nationwide have upgraded their systems from traditional film print to digital projection and broadcast, about 70% of which are managed by Cinedigm.

Arthouse plans a theatrical release early 2009. Arthouse Films acquired 'Herb & Dorothy' which recently won best documentary and the audience award at the Hamptons International Film Festival for North American and world rights.

It will be released theatrically in the UK from November 14 in Picturehouse Cinemas as part of the joiningthedots.tv programme backed by The Independent newspaper and Sheffield Doc/Fest. American Film Market announces '08 lineup
"The Lonely Maiden," starring Morgan Freeman and Christopher Walken; "The Killing Room," starring Timothy Hutton; and "Powder Blue," starring Forest Whitaker, will all screen for the first time at the 29th American Film Market, running Nov. 5-12 at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel and Le Merigot Beach Hotel in Santa Monica.

The market will present 513 films, including 102 world premieres and 375 market premieres.

In addition to Freeman and Walken, the Yari Film Group's "Maiden" stars William H. Macy; "Killing Room," from ContentFilm International, stars Chloe Sevigny, Nick Cannon and Peter Stormare along with Hutton; Qed International's "Powder Blue" boasts a cast that includes Whitaker, Jessica Biel, Kris Kristofferson, Ray Liotta and Patrick Swayze.
