Thank you.
BungieJumper1 July 2019
This whole half season has been some of the most wonderful television that I've ever watched. What an amazing story to see over the past couple months. There are things that the anime has been able to accomplish in it's own way that show it's true colors beside other shows in the world, but I can't help but feel this was a good thing to have after what happened with Game of Thrones. You did it Isayama. I'm very grateful.

Etika was a big fan of the series. He would've loved this too...

How to build world, lore and characters in just 20 minutes.
vault13-347-4853351 July 2019
Im writing this as a manga reader who knows exactly whats coming next (no spoilers here)! This EXCEPTIONAL season felt like it was released to teach the GOT writers how to build a world thats changing DRASTICALLY and along with the characters living within it! You may think that one of the highest rating seasons of all time in every medium should end with a loud BAAAM and this was just a filler but trust me my friends THIS episode was MORE than importand! In a few years from now, when AOT will be completed you will watch this episode from a completely different point of view and you will understand what Isayama-san did here! Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Hange, Sasha, Connie, Jean even that "stupid" Floch are completely changed along with their view of the world! I cant say more storywise without spoilers so Im going to finish this little review with this: Act2 of AOT is over, now we are going to watch Act3, the REAL story Isayama had in mind all along! Its like GOT, you had 6 FANTASTIC (with their ups and downs, nothing is perfect) seasons building up for the finale, no matter they blew it at the end, in this series thats not the case! There many many more shocking things to come! Finally, a HUGE THANK YOU to studio WIT fom the exceptional work on animation and voice overs! The story was there, they just had to repsect it. when i was reading the manga i was always like "this cant be done right on TV" but god I was so SO wrong! They followed the books frame by frame doing a magnificent work bringing to life the most demanding season I've seen in years! I only wish GOT could do it the way AOT is doing it... so many years reading the books and we got this rushed ending. Well, no matter, AOT is now my GOT and my watch has just began! See you all in the next season!

A quiet finale that wonderfully sets up the heavy undertones of what is likely to come
lloyd_imdb1 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is the quietest season finale the show has given us so far, with Season 1 ending with that huge battle and Season 2 ending with an inspiring montage. I expected another epic ending with some hype-inducing music to build excitement for the next season, but this is much better.

The Scouts reach the ocean, and you'd imagine it's a beautiful and meaningful moment for them, especially for Armin and Eren who've dreamed of this forever. But celebrations are cut short when Eren voices his gloomy realization that they're going to have to take up arms against the rest of the world to truly be free. It's a depressing tragedy; fighting for freedom all this time, only to realize that they have to either give up that freedom, or probably lose their humanity in fighting for it.

I'm honestly terrified at what might happen in Season 4. Eren seems to be taking a dark turn. Will they achieve freedom in the end? Even if so, at what cost? Will it be worth it in the end? A fantastic way to end the arc, setting up the dark themes of the final season.

The sea!
MohdNas1 July 2019
In Game of Thrones, we have waited six seasons for winter to arrive. In Attack on Titan, on the other hand, we have waited for the sea! The sea is here and so are we! This season answers many questions yet raises many more. An epic finale for an epic season. I'm so eagerly waiting for the upcoming seasons. Thank you for everyone who is part of either the anime or the manga production!

Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2 set the bar way too high!
dmd_m1 July 2019
It was a beautiful and emotional ending to probably the most epic and mind blowing season so far. Show started with incredible hype and lived up to all expectations, only to find out that we've been blind all this time for what actually the anime IS about, since the clues were all there!

Attack on Titan has proven yet again that it deserves a spot amongst the best of the best animes ever! An upcoming timeless classic to be sure!

Major thanks to the whole team working on it! They've done a fantastic work!

An Impactful Ending To The End Of An Era
definitelynotvriska1 July 2019
This show, especially season 3, hasn't failed to amaze me. Ever since I read this chapter in the manga, I've been waiting for it to be adapted be the anime. "To The Other Side of The Wall" is a beautifully written/ adapted episode that really feels like the send off of an era. A chapter of the story is closed, and another will be opened. Conclusive yet ambiguous, hopeful yet... melancholy. I'm astonished by this episode, for it's proof for how far the series has come from the first few episodes. A bittersweet ending for a bittersweet series. "To The Other Side of The Wall" is truly a landmark in the story of Attack on Titan.

Let's give a big hand to WIT STUDIOS
arishsankar1 July 2019
#AttackOnTitan leaves us with a beautifully somber finale after one of the best seasons of Television I've ever seen

The beach scene and the whole sequence leading up to it got me so emotional Everything they went through was to get to this moment, and yet they are still not free, the series finale make me cry, can't wait for SEASON 4

SEASON 4 WILL BE THE TURNING POINT

I never thought AOT would get me so much... Until part 2 of season 3 came. Just an epic ending to an epic show! It couldn't have been better. A perfect end to the story too with a big twist in thinking of audience!

Wow what an amazing season this has been. A beautiful ending. Finally, scouts arrive at the ocean. Armin's dream comes true. Thank you Isayama and WIT Studio! Attack on Titan season 3 is easily a contender for anime of the year.

A much needed breath of fresh air before what's to come
Shmaden30 July 2019
Attack on Titan season 3 (and I'm referring more about part 2, although part 1 was also fantastic) will go down as being the "Pay-off" to a 4 arcs of building characters and story. And it didn't disappoint. It was for me one of the best things I've ever seen on TV since LOST.

After the revelations in episodes 20 and 21 which have proven me at least that this is one of the (if not the) best written anime ever, we would expect a season 1 or 2 type of finale. This one instead is a more calmer reflecting episode that gave the characters time to reflect on what has happened and what's to come next.

Can't say anything more about this season which solidified the fact that this show for me now is the closest any show came to overthrowing LOST as my favourite show of all time. And if it nails season 4 and finishes strong than it might become my favourite show of all time. Till then it is surely my favourite anime ever!

I never thought I'd be feeling sth deep from Attack on Titan
CinemaFX17 March 2021
Lo and behold, I heard all the great things about AoT Season 3 Part 2 I started this anime just for this part and Season 4 when it came. Jeez, this was just what I imagined, just what was hyped.

I think I am feeling the same way Armin felt when he finally saw the ocean for himself! This was also helped at the time when GoT Season 8 came and disappointed almost everyone on the planet and this one comes to blow it out of the waters(ocean, I mean lol). Coming from me this, I've never Imagined as I never got why AoT was considered great when I saw Season One. But every part of it continued to increase on its quality like S02 or S03 Part 1 but then still I was never convinced. Then Season 3 Part 2 came...

Also, I felt something for the first time. Truly exceptional. I saw the ocean at last Eren, I saw it!!!

Thats how you deliver a fanservice beach episode !!
saadi-424224 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I was literally ecstatic seeing everyone screaming with joy and discovering the ocean right in front of their own eyes. Mikasa was too adorable, and so was Armin's smile. Most of all, even we could get crazy Hange once gain at the very end. They've all been through so much you could almost forget how precious these dorks are.

Important to note that the shell was no plaything - it was Isayama's last gift to us. It symbolizes the whole tragic fate of the Eldians of Paradis, who literally used a part of themselves to build a wall for their protection. The curse of every shelled creature: it can't live outside its shell.

Overall, this finale is even better than a 'fanservice' beach episode as it stays crucial to the plot, while portraying the light and fun side of characters as they rejoice the freedom and experience the fresh sea breeze for the first time everrr !!

Shingeki No Kyojin, the epitome of perfection in storytelling
danielreyv1 July 2019
Shingeki No Kyojin is my favorite series of all time. To me, this story about humanity will stand as one of the most complex, exciting, saddening, but also heartening; brillian and mind bending pieces of work to ever be created. Im not sure if word can quite describe what SNK really is and more importantly, what it means to me...

The storytelling this season was just masterful. It kept getting better and better every episode. Character development was phenomenal. It always shocks me how Isayama is able to create and develop so much in just 22 minutes.

Everything feels right and real. The animation and the music score were even better than previous seasons. I mean, the soundtrack here deserves so many awards is insane.

Thank you WIT Studios, author Hajime Isayama and crew, for creating what it is to me, the epitome of perfection.

Not that even matters but, soon I will get a tattoo: TATAKAI.
