In the aftermath of her encounter with Ray Fiske, Patty Hewes finally takes Tom's call and is told Ellen has accused her of attempted murder. She returns to the city and posts Ellen's bail. At 7:44, you can see a building across the street in the upper right hand corner, on the roof of a red brick apartment building put up in 1989 at East Houston Street and Avenue A, features a statue of Vladimir Lenin, defiant in the post-Soviet age, and a misnumbered "Askew" clock.
