In some ways this episode ruined my weekend because it was so powerful! I could have given it 10 out of 10 if it were not for the obvious flaws. In the previous episode George finally told his wife Callie that he slept with Izzie and this episode starts after he has told her. In the opening scene Callie unexpectedly forgives George. This starts the theme of the episode of forgiveness. The medical cases mirror this theme with an injured woman who became this way because her boyfriend made her lose weight and the old intern Norman giving the wrong patient advice to name two of the four cases in the episode. The episode has an amazing performance by Sara Ramirez as the devastated wife who wants to blame everyone but her husband for his infidelity. There is also a nice speech by Derek about his lasting love for Meredith but it seems was only there to make the episode more light hearted. Izzie also does something early in the episode that seems to be only there for the shock factor.
