They were unwanted additions this season. Which is one of the best apparently, but episodes like these are hard to sit through. The fountain is hideous, and violates several codes. But the biggest issue with these new neighbors, is how un likable they can be. The cliché big city couple, who think they own the place, when they decide to move in somewhere, and are so pretentious, they buy worthless art an outrageous amount of money. It's a good thing they improve a little at one point, but it's no wonder Lee's mother hate gay people, with such an obnoxious son. I like the part where they have a mini election, and picking Katherine was the right call, but when they blackmailed her to keep their pile of noisy garbage, it was the last straw that plummeted their capacity for sympathy this season. Obviously my favorite plot was the one involving Gabby, Carlos and John, and how their love triangle came full circle. But I also like the one with Bree, Danielle and Rex's mother, it made for very comedic moments. Susan is still a ninny, but what can you do, it's just the way writers love to portray her apparently. And as cute as it was, Lynette's teary open heart moment, to explain why she needs to keep the hut for her kids, was lazy writing. So far season 4 is ok, and I like the new additions like Dana Delany, Nathan Fillon, and Lyndsy Fonseca, but it's crazy how overplayed the cancer arc can be...
