A Great Follow Up From The First Episode
7 June 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In Smiles of a Summer Night,Lynette gets mad at her husband Tom after realizing that he is letting her win during their card games at her chemotherapy sessions and kicks her out.Apparently, she does not want to be pitied so much for what she is going through.Too bad that she later realizes that she needed him more than ever considering that she needs someone to talk to and pour her emotions that she is going through. Lynette is visited by her friends like Bree and her new neighbor Katherine. They bring her food and desserts.

Lynette gets upset though that her friend Gabrielle does not accompany her during her chemo sessions as she is busy having an affair with her ex-hubby Carlos. As for Edie, she tries her best efforts to make Carlos propose to her despite of the events from the past like trying not to get pregnant and committing suicide. As for Susan, she gets torn between Julie and Mike after they got into an argument with regards her daughter's wish.

This was a good follow up from the first episode. The arguments between Bree and Katherine were hilarious while Gabrielle's story to Lynette about her father provides a lot of drama in this episode. One can only look forward to the next episode as season four looks exciting and interesting so far.
