Summit Entertainment has released synopses and some first look images from their 2010 films and it’s all after the jump. They’re 2010 preview includes The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, directed by David Slade (Hard Candy) and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Bryce Dallas Howard; Furry Vengeance, directed by Roger Kumble (College Road Trip) and starring Brendan Fraser and Brooke Shields; Letters to Juliet, directed by Gary Winick (Bride Wars) and starring Amanda Seyfried, Gael Garcia Bernal, and Vanessa Redgrave; Remember Me, directed by Allen Coulter (Hollywoodland) and starring Robert Pattinson, Emile de Ravin, Chris Cooper, and Pierce Brosnan; and The Ghostwriter, directed by Roman Polanski (Chinatown) and starring Ewan McGregor, Pierce Brosnan, Tom Wilkinson, Kim Cattrall, Olivia Williams, and Eli Wallach.

Analysis: A remake of director Francis Veber's 1998 César award-winning "Le Diner des cons", 'Schmucks' is one of the highest profile comedies of next year with one of the strongest casts for the genre in recent memory. It also marks the return of "Austin Powers" and "Meet the Parents" helmer Jay Roach who has produced several films in recent years but hasn't directed since 2004's "Meet the Fockers".

What man under 30 has the stones to rock a black blazer over a black t-shirt? An internet mogul. This ain’t news to Justin Timberlake. Merely news to us, courtesy of The Daily Mail. What else is up with the coming Facebook movie (other than Timberkale perfectly embodying the “I’ll take your money, but I’ll never play by your rules” ethos), you ask?
Well, it’s called The Social Network and it’s being directed by David Fincher, who helmed Seven, Fight Club, The Game and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Today, we have the first official set pic from the film, featuring Timberlake embodying the look of the aforementioned mogul.
The Social Network is adapted from the book The Accidental Billionaires written by Ben Mezrich of Bringing Down the House fame. The screenplay was written by Aaron Sorkin, who created The West Wing and wrote A Few Good Men.

In what I can only pray is a kind of “That would be fun, we should make that movie someday,”-story because I can’t fathom why Jamie Foxx would want to go back and make a movie starring his stand-up/”In Loving Color” character, Wanda Wayne. You don’t see Jim Carrey angling for a Fire Marshall Bill movie and Foxx has far more respect and critical appreciation than Carrey.
On the other hand, I completely understand Martin Lawrence digging his stand-up/”Martin” character, Sheneneh Jenkins for a movie since Lawrence has shown he has no interest in expanding beyond the “College Road Trip”/”Big Momma’s House”-type films he’s done for the past several years. But regardless of their career trajectories, Lawrence and Foxx are planning to star in a feature film crossover of their 90s, ugly women character, “Sheneneh and Wanda”. Hit the jump for details.

"Little Fockers" is likely to have Jessica Alba among its cast. The Hollywood Reporter's Risky Biz Blog has got the scoop that the 28-year-old actress is in negotiations to take on a key role in the third installment of "Meet the Parents" franchise.
Should the deal is made, the actress who portrays Sue Storm in the last two "Fantastic Four" movies will play an attractive pharmaceutical rep who makes all the male characters in the story smitten by her. She'll join the cast that include Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner and Owen Wilson.
"Little Fockers" will revolve around the children of Greg Focker and Pam Byrnes. De Niro and Jane Rosenthal are serving as producers. Universal Pictures is certainly moving full steam ahead with its third installment of the "Meet the Parents" trilogy project with the setting of a release date. Bringing the news to the attention was Coming Soon which reveals that the studio has placed "Little Fockers" among its summer 2010 line-up.
The movie which will see Ben Stiller returning as Greg Focker is now set to be debuted in theaters across the U.S. on July 30, 2010. On the particular date, the sequel to 2004 comedy "Meet the Fockers" will come out along with Vanessa Hudgens' romantic drama "Beastly", Warner Bros. comedy "Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore" and Rachel McAdams' comedy "Morning Glory".
"Little Fockers" will revolve around the children of Greg Focker and Pam Byrnes. Teri Polo, Robert De Niro and Owen Wilson will reprise their roles in this comedy movie wherein De Niro and Jane Rosenthal are serving as producers.

Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment are joining forces to turn the Dr. Seuss book The Lorax into a 3-D CG animated feature, report the trades. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Cat in the Hat previously received live-action big screen treatment, while the recent Horton Hears a Who! went the animated route.
Dr. Seuss' The Lorax will be co-directed by Chris Renaud and Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio, with Paul & Daurio writing the script. Renaud, who started out as a storyboard artist on Ice Age: The Meltdown and Robots, is making his feature directorial debut with the Steve Carrell animated flick Despicable Me.
Paul & Daurio penned the screenplay for Me and also scripted Bubble Boy, The Santa Clause 2, College Road Trip and the aforementioned Horton Hears a Who!.
Though published in 1971, The Lorax has a timely "green" theme. It is narrated by a greedy entrepreneur who, despite warnings from the tree-loving Lorax,

The full cast of family comedy Furry Vengeance has been revealed by The Hollywood Reporter: Brendan Fraser will be joined by Dick Van Dyke, Ken Jeong, Samantha Bee and Brooke Shields!This will be Shields' first movie role (to see the inside of a cinema) for ten years, in a plot that sees her playing Fraser's wife. Fraser himself plays a real-estate agent battling a plague of racoons on some prime real estate. Director Roger Kumble previously made the rather good Cruel Intentions (and its awful Dtv sequel), The Sweetest Thing, and College Road Trip. Frankly, it's hard to get excited. I'm all for the return to 2D animation and with Disney's The Princess and the Frog coming this winter, it seems as though 2D's resurrection is nigh. After seeing the animated portions of Enchanted last year and with the promotion of John Lasseter to head of Walt Disney Animation, it's easy to feel as though Disney still has some great cartoons up their sleeves.
Now if Disney could only figure out their live-action department and stop releasing stuff like The Game Plan and College Road Trip, they might actually be on to something.

Ben Stiller and Teri Polo will be having different sexes of twins in "Little Fockers". A casting call for the sequel to 2004 comedy "Meet the Fockers" gives out that the filmmakers are looking for 6-year-old boy and girl to play 5-year-old twins, Henry and Ashley.
Beside noting that a set of boy and girl is needed, the casting call also uncovers details on each of the characters. While Henry is described to be a kind and little oversensitive boy who likes to sing and dance, his twin sister Ashley is said to be a tomboy who can be a little bit of a bully, but loves her twin brother.

The casting call is for a 6-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl to play the 5-year-old twin son and daughter of Gaylord (Ben Stiller) and Pam (Teri Polo). Henry: is kind and a little oversensitive. They.re not showing real fame or real high school, but the kids get it.

Martin Lawrence may be starring in the new comedy, Back to Africa, from Alcon Entertainment.
Lawrence would be playing a "working class man from Queens who discovers he is the heir to the throne of an African country." Seemingly a reserve of the plot from Eddie Murphy's 1988 comedy Coming to America, Martin Lawrence's character will be thrust into wacky circumstances as he struggles to adapt with his new "family" on the Dark Continent.
Alcon is also producing the Hughes brothers Book of Eli, due out in January of next year.
Lawrence was last seen in last year's comedy, College Road Trip, with Disney star Raven-Symoné.

I am not the target audience for Disney's popular High School Musical trilogy. However, that does not mean I cannot appreciate them for the phenomenally popular spectacle they have become. Tween girls and boys of all shapes and sizes have been gobbling these musicals up since the first one debuted on the Disney Channel in 2006, which is why the $90-plus million theatrical gross of High School Musical 3: Senior Year nowhere near the shocker many critics would like you to believe.
Having finally watched the new Blu-ray releases of both these films (skipping over the second chapter because it wasn't sent to us for review -- what's the deal Disney?) I admit I didn't feel an ounce of regret viewing them. What I expected to be nothing more than annoying "Saved by the Bell" retreads only with terrible pop songs were instead oddly okay time-wasters perfectly suited for family audiences.

MTV talked to Darren Aronosfky about Robocop.
Sylvester Stallone told Extra, "Yeah, we are doing another Rambo, but the conflict is whether to do it in America or a foreign country."
Bd says Ghost Rider 2 is in the early stages of development.
Arrow in the Head says Resident Evil 4 has a script written by Paul Anderson but he won't direct and they trying to lockdown Milla Jovovich.
IESB is reporting Batman 3 is in the scripting stage, Dan Mazeau is writing The Flash and Get Smart 2 is coming in Spring 2010.

I mean this is the nicest way possible, but what the hell has happened to Brendan Fraser? Let's all think back to the year 1998 when I was convinced Fraser was going to get the credit as an actor he so deserved after starring in Gods and Monsters. Then, when he took his spot as Indiana Jones' heir apparent in The Mummy, it seemed like he was slated to be the next big thing. But, here we are 10 years later, and let's just say I'm glad I didn't put any money on my earlier claims. Fraser has been happy to hang in the kiddie flick ghetto, and judging by this latest announcement, he has no plans on leaving any time soon. In spite of the poor box-office performance of last week's "Inkheart", casting directors just keep giving Brendan Fraser more chances to bore audiences. His next blindingly-dull trek into the family film genre, according to Variety, will be in the live-action comedy "Furry Vengeance" from Summit Entertainment and Participant Media.
