Storyline

CHAMAMÉ - MUSIC, PEOPLE, POETRY introduces the viewer to a popular Argentinean style of music and to four artists whose lives revolve around it: There is Gicela, a rising young singer; Alberto, self-declared ambassador of the Chamamé tradition; Monchito and his band, who represent a widely popular style; as well as one of the most famous Chamameceros in Argentina and beyond, Chango Spasiuk. While they couldn't be more different, Chamamé to each one is much more than just music. It is their way of life, and they gladly invite the audience to share their passion, sorrows and joys.
