**Note: This will be at the top for a bit; new stories will appear below!** It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the age of remakes -- also known as the age of foolishness; it was the epoch of bad, it was the epoch of incredible; it was the season of fright, it was the season of dumb; it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair -- and man, did we have a lot of it; we had everything before us, we had nothing before us; some flicks took us directly to heaven, others took us the other way. The year was 2008, and it was pretty memorable.

We've been keeping tabs on Alien Raiders for some time now, even if its various name changes have made that task a bit more difficult than usual. But that's all water under the bridge now that the official DVD artwork and extras have been announced.
Alien Raiders, which is about aliens lurking inside humans and the band of renegade fighters struggling to keep them from taking over, is the sixth Raw Feed title Warner Home Video has acquired. Produced by Dan Myrick (The Blair Witch Project, Solstice, The Believers) and directed by Ben Rock (Shadow of the Blair Witch, Conversation), the film stars Carlos Bernard (“24”), Jeff Licon (Mysterious Skin), Courtney Ford (Lie to Me), and Samantha Streets (The Girl from the Naked Eye). Tony Krantz (Otis) and John Shiban (Rest Stop, "Supernatural") are co-producers.
The DVD drops on February 17, 2009, with special features that include:

Serial killers have a penchant for leaving a calling card at a crime scene and in the upcoming 2:13 (or, Two: Thirteen as it was title when the film was first announced) a maniac is leaving his victims behind with various "fleshy" guises. You can get a taste of his (or her ) handiwork in the film's trailer which we've received acquired. Mark Thompson writes, produces and stars in the film as Detective Spivey, a fella burdened by his own personal demons who has to catch the film's killer. Also starring are Teri Polo ( Meet the Parents ), Kevin Pollack ( Otis ), Dwight Yoakam ( Crank ) and Mark Pelligrino ( Dexter ). And if you look at the trailer and wonder why it looks so good, that's because David Armstrong of the Saw franchise shot it for director Charles »
