Brian Thompson does a superb job of playing the spoiled star in this very funny movie. Like a big "kid" Vardell wants it all and provides the movie audience with belly aching laughs as he demands everything from his director. Brian Thompson, best known for his sci-fi roles, moves into new territory and provides insight as to his far broader range of ability. You can't help but love him and hate him as he takes on the great "Action hero" persona. Reminiscent of other real life action movie stars with V.D. as their initials, Vardell has it all and takes advantage of it too. This is one of the best movie "spoofs" that has come out in a long long time. With sex, violence and humor, it provides great entertainment.
