Storyline

At the Borgata Casino, Tony decides to let it ride after winning at roulette. Tony loses everything he'd won, and then some, on 23. Meanwhile, Vito Jr. is going through a rebellious phase. Tony asks Phil to talk to Vito Jr. Phil grudgingly agrees. AJ proposes to Blanca over a nice dinner, promising her that he will rise from pizzeria night manager to restaurant chain owner in no time, and coaxes a "yes" out of her. At the Puerto Rican day parade, Blanca meets up with AJ and returns his engagement ring, telling him she just doesn't feel it. Written by Dennis

Tony Soprano: And not pay my debts? Head of the family? How's that gonna look?
Carlo Gervasi: Who's gonna know? It's like Eddie Valentine.
Tony Soprano: The guy from Philly? With the polio leg and the built up shoe?

Tony's new gambling problem
30 April 2007 | by See all my reviews

This episode highlights on Tony's gambling problem. My question is: What gambling problem? We have never heard about this problem before and all of a sudden Tony is infatuated with betting. This doesn't make sense with his character's previous behavior. Where is this coming from? More importantly, where is this going? Watch the scene where mob boss Phil Leotardo takes Vito Jr. (with the black lipstick and black nail polish) to get ice cream. The ice cream place is called Applegate, on Grove Street in Upper Montclair, N.J. Overall, kinda a "downer" of an episode with not much happening. Other highlights include Nancy Sinatra sings, Vito Jr. gets in trouble, Anthony Jr. breaks up with his (muy caliente) Puerto Rican girlfriend and more trouble brewing with Phil Leotardo's crew.
