- Mahone is arrested, putting the whole gang at risk - and Mahone squarely in Wyatt's sights. Meanwhile T-Bag's charade is discovered.
- Michael and his group are in the jockey chasing card number five. Michael and Mahone plant the device in the office of the operation manager; Bellick argues with the clerk in the counter and Lincoln plants a device in the horse's gate, provoking a delay in the opening of one of the gates. When Nataniel Edison goes to the office to complain with the manager, the fourth card is copied. However Mahone is arrested while retrieving the device and sent to the precinct. Meanwhile the disturbed Gretchen arrives at her sister's house in Riverside, California, and gets a pistol, money and credit card hidden in a glass owl she sent to his sister from Germany. T-Bag is pressed in some businesses by his coworker Andy, and uses his position of top-seller in Northeast area. Lincoln calls Self to release Mahone, but even using his badge, he does not succeed. Wyatt meets General Krantz, who tried to hack Self's computer, but the equipment is protected by a powerful firewall. Then Wyatt startles Self in the garage, identifies himself as a hired contractor and gives a friendly advice to Self, telling that General Krantz likes his privacy. Then he goes to the police station and Mahone sees him; later he calls Michael asking him to promise to kill Wyatt and tell Pam. However, Michael and the group plot a plan to release him from the court in the Los Angeles Municipal Building and rescue his fingerprints. Gretchen seeks the possessions of Gary Miller in the morgue and finds T-Bag in Whistler's apartment.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- The episode begins with the entire gang involved in a rather complicated operation at a race track.
The short of it is that they end up sabotaging the starting gate of a horse owned by one of the Scylla holders. This draws him into the operations manager's office where they have planted one of Glen's date transmission devices. The get the info off the card, but Mahone gets taken into custody while in possession of the device.
A struggling Gretchen knocks on the door of a home with a woman and a young girl. "Oh my God, what happened to you?" asks the woman who obviously knows her.
T-Bag is carefully examining the bird book when an office noseypants comes in asking questions about information related to the buyers on T-Bag's fake sales accounts. T-Bag gets rid of him. Mahone is processed under an alias and is unable to talk his way out. Lincoln asks Self if he can get Mahone out of custody, just as Self walks in to find 'Brian the IT guy' (I'm sure) working on his computer.
Back at the warehouse the gang discusses what to do about Mahone, and Michael has them press forward on the next card-holder. After a shower and a sandwich, Gretchen gives her host a bogus story about where she has been and grabs a gun she had stashed there.
Wyatt and the General have a meeting to discuss Self, when Brian the IT guy walks in and tells them he didn't have enough time to get all the information they were looking for off of Self's computer. Brian asks Wyatt to give him more time.
Self arrives at where Mahone is being held, and uses his fed muscle to get the device but is unable to secure Mahones release. This causes conflict at the warehouse. Sucre and Bellick think they should help Mahone, but Lincoln wants to leave him behind. Michael ultimately sides with Lincoln and they push forward.
Wyatt confronts Self in an underground parking lot, telling Self that the General "likes his privacy." After Self leaves, Wyatt notices the parking stub from Self visit to the LAPD station where Mahone is being held. Self hands Michael the device, telling him that Mahone is now a liability and while he cant get him released, he can have him killed. The next scene is a cop offering Mahone a chance to roll over on Michael.
The gang discusses the next card-holder further, with Glen worried Mahone might rat them out and Sucre and Bellick still concerned about leaving one of their group hanging out to dry.
Based on info from the bird book, T-Bag begins exploring a closet in his office. Michael talks to Sarah and she seems to convince him getting Mahone out might be a good idea. Wyatt arrives at the police station and learns in which courthouse Mahone will be arraigned.
Mahone and Michael speak on the phone. Mahone tells Michael he won't tell the authorities anything and makes him promise to get to Wyatt. This seems to have an impact on Michael.
We hear the end of a conversation where Gretchen tells someone "I'm his wife. I'm sorry, I'm still in shock. I'll be down this afternoon." We next find out the woman she's staying with is her sister and that the little girl is Gretchen's daughter.
Michael and Lincoln begin setting up the equipment for what looks to be the next card-holder mission. But after our final commercial break we see everybody is actually at the courthouse to break Mahone out.
As T-Bag examines the walls in the closet, the busybody from earlier accuses him of fraud and demands an immediate meeting, threatening to call the authorities. This causes T-Bag to wipe down the room and make a break for it.
Gretchen attempts to acquire the personal belonging of the deceased man. She is forced to knock the male guard employee unconscious when he requires more identification, and then grabs a cell phone (presumably Whistler's) out of a nearby cabinet. Gretchen hears a voicemail telling a "Mr. Pfeiffer" that is check has cleared and his apartment is ready.
The group gets Mahone free, just barely escaping the nearby Wyatt who directs an ominous finger gun at Mahone as he flees in a car. When they return to the warehouse Mahone calls Wyatt, basically promising that he will kill him. Mahone discards Wyatts number, which Glen pulls out of the trash.
As T-Bag attempts to clear out of the apartment he gets knocked the ground by Gretchen, and the episode ends with her sticking a gun at his face and demanding to know who he is.
