*** This review may contain spoilers ***
Here is the synopsis for this movie: This movie follow events that happened in the same apartment on different time periods with different people.
-First we have Julien (Simon-Olivier Fecteau), preparing himself for a job interview in front of a mirror. Julien can't decide to really go to the interview and he is procrastinating. This portion is hilarious.
-Next, we have Michel (Alexis Martin) and his girlfriend. Michel has his grandfather's paintings in his living room, and a mysterious stranger played by Gilbert Sicotte is a potential buyer. The stranger ends up being interested in only one painting, but the couple lost it so they try frantically to remember where they stored it.
-Also, there is a funny segment with a guy meeting his step dad for the first time in company of his girlfriend. His step dad (played by Remy Girard), is a wannabe boxer who think he can box but is actually old and has no skill at all. The step dad challenges the guy to a boxing match, and what starts as play turns ugly.
-Then, there is a segment with a couple with a infertile man (Emmanuel Bilodeau) who hired a sperm donor (David La Haye) to have sex with his wife and make her pregnant. The husband then discovers that the sperm donor and her wife were already having a affair since a certain time and that his wife was already pregnant.
-Then there is the very strange segment with two thieves breaking into the apartment but actually one of the thieves lives there and "steal" his own stuff. The other thief doesn't know about it. The reason why he does this is never really explained, and I personally have no explanation for it. The thieves are played by Marc Messier and Nicolas Canuel.
-Finally, this segment happens after the other ones, when the apartment building is abandoned and about to be destroyed. A machinery operator then discovers something special in the apartment, then him and the landlord (played by Raymond Bouchard) have a heated discussion about it.
The audience is led to believe that there is actually a corpse or something else hidden in a trap in the apartment. Who could this be? We see all the other segments of the story take turns, so the audience is left guessing until the end what really happened.
Personally, I think it was a very good movie. The movie had funny parts, and has intelligent story and dialog. The acting was also very good and the right music was added at the right moment.
I recommend this movie for anyone, even if it has a small budget.
