Trivia

Rory's apartment is at 544 Howe Street, Apt. #8 in New Haven, CT 06511. The street exists and is only four blocks from the Old Campus at Yale. The address, however, is fake. The numbers only go up to around 140 on that street. See more »

Quotes

Rory: Hey, hey, you got into Stanford!
[Doyle and Rory start cheering]
Paris: Okay, enough of the hysterics. I have a big decision to make and all of this hooting and hollering is not exactly helping matters!

setting up for the finale

I don't agree with the last commenter. Rory hasn't been that strong and occasionally falters. After all she is 21/22 and at that age you can't be that strong willed. Life is still coming at you with instability. Of course she's going to have issues. She just lost the one thing she really wanted for her career, so much that she didn't have her Plan B figured out yet. I know how she feels I've been there. I kind of am there still.

I think she needs some single time. After all...her life has been one guy to another. The time she spent without she was faltering. Remember her "dry spell" at Yale between Jess and what she ended up doing? I mean a strong woman isn't going to go sleep with a married man and think there are no consequences. Rory is still learning how to be a strong woman and I don't think it helps that she's always got her boy toys to fall back on.

As for the whole Lorelai/Luke thing I'm glad they're back in their old banter. I appreciate their friendship. I don't appreciate their ill played relationship so I really hope if they go down that road again it won't be as painful to watch.

Paris was funny. I really hope they max out her time on the rest of the show.

What I'm dying to see is Kwan/Quan and Steve and Lane. Where art thou little mixed twin babies whose names the writers must explain or I will continue believing they are random and not what I was hoping for (a tribute to Lane and Zach's musical favorites). I would have preferred Marco and Polo.
