When Greg Saunders is lifting a fingerprint from the bottom of the steam vac, he first dusts it and then presses a transparent lift pad (i.e. tape) onto the print and runs 2 fingers across it. As he does so, he misses half the print and when he pulls up the tape, you can clearly see (very briefly) that only half the print is transferred to the lift pad. See more »
