“Dead Of The Nite” Trailer
Welsh horror movie Dead Of The Nite has released a trailer. The film stars horror fan fave Tony Todd (Candyman, Final Destination, Hatchet), Simon Bamford (Hellraiser, Nightbreed), and Suzi Lorraine (Torment). It’s being described as Paranormal Activity meets Halloween.

Cardiff, Wales – February 02, 2013: The full trailer for upcoming Welsh horror Dead Of The Nite has been released in all of its gory glory, showcasing a cast comprising genre icons Tony Todd (Candyman, Final Destination, Hatchet), who makes his British film debut, Simon Bamford (Hellraiser, Nightbreed) and Suzi Lorraine (Torment).

The film follows a group of ghost hunters whose hopeful date with the deceased in the bowels of a haunted castle becomes a bloody battle for survival as one by one they meet their own demise, raising the question as to whether they are being hunted by a cold blooded killer or a supernatural force. 1960's Horror Hotel With Christopher Lee Is Getting Remade

Pillay-Evans Productions and producer Adam Stephe Kelly are pairing up to remake the 1960s British horror film, The City of the Dead, or, as it was known in the U.S., Horror Hotel.

S.J. Evans (Tattoos: A Scarred History) is on board to write and direct.

“The remake of The City of the Dead will stay true to the original and concentrate on atmosphere and good old fashioned storytelling, instead of relying on gore or CGI to move the plot along," says Evans. "I grew up watching the classic Universal horrors and was inspired by how the likes of James Whale created this sense of dread and unease with just a look. I want to bring that style of filmmaking back to the big screen instead of another music video, quick-cut horror film. Watch Pete Postlethewaite in the Sci-Fi Documentary "The Age of Stupid"

Oscar-nominated British character actor Pete Postlethwaite has passed away at the age of 64 from cancer. You may have seen him last year in "Clash of the Titans," "Inception" and/or "The Town," but he was also in a very interesting work that SnagFilms showcased in their 2010 SummerFest: "The Age of Stupid." Postlethwaite seemed to be dabbling in documentary in recent years, narrating the afterlife portrait of Brian Clough, simply titled "Clough," and appearing in "Tattoos: A Scarred History, in which he displays his own body art.
