Andrea has a father who is an engineer and they have moved over twenty times living in foriegn countries. She has never really had a chance for a normal lifestyle with friends. Desperate to fit in at any costs she listens to a lecture on the Salem witchcraft trials and how they were hanged and burned at the stake just for being different. One of the other students points out that this is still the case in present times. Taking a cue from this, Andrea pretends to be a witch to the point of reading tarot cards and seeming to put curses on people. After nearly starting a fire in the school utility room its up to Alice to set her straight. She takes the role ususally played by Pete and does it very well. There is an amusing scene where Alice talks about being the class clown when she was in school.

Andrea, a new student thinks she is a witch.
One of Season 3's best. Candy Clark (later in "American Graffiti") plays Andrea. She wears a magic amulet and believes she can cast spells with it. Bernie has some funny moments when he talks to her in a Bela Lugosi accent and calls Andrea "Witchiepoo". She has some good scenes talking about the Salem witch trials and "The Turn Of The Screw".
