Kind of hard to believe that this film only took $10,000 to make. The acting, directing, and story are all decent, but the editing could have been a little better. Or maybe the movie just could have been edited down.
The movie was actually shot on 16mm, which is a lot to say these days.
The story took a little while to develop, but at least there was a story. You have to watch the whole movie to get it.
If nothing else, the potential is definitely there.
I can appreciate the filmmaker trying to tell a different kind a story.
Dejuan hits his wife in the beginning of the movie and the story then reveals to the audience what lead to the beginning scene. Depending on what you expect from independent films, it won't disappoint.
