Lasse Hallstrom is adapting another Nicholas Sparks novel -- "Safe Haven" -- for Relativity Media, the studio announced Thursday. He directed 2010's "Dear John," also based on a Sparks novel, and has directed a raft of adaptations, including the 1985 "My Life as a Dog," the 1999 "The Cider House Rules," the 2001 "The Shipping News" and the 2000 "Chocolat."
