Comic Relief is just getting better and better for charity and comedy. There is just plenty for everyone. Hosts were Fearne Cotton, Lenny Henry, Paul O'Grady with Buster the Dog, Kate Thornton, Jonathan Ross, Graham Norton and Russell Brand. The parts of the show that stuck out were: the performance of Walk This Way by the Sugababes and Girls Aloud. Mr. Bean's Weddings starring Rowan Atkinson, EastEnders' Michelle Ryan and Four Weddings and a Funeral's David Haig. Comic Relief Does Beat the Boss, where some kids against Joe Pasquale, Chantelle Houghton and Dragon's Den's Duncan Bannatyne have to design a suit for Lenny Henry to wear on the night. Harry Hill's TV Burp with highlights from the last few weeks. Comic Relief Does Fame Academy starring Patrick Kielty, Claudia Winkleson, Richard Park, Lesley Garrett, Craig Revel Horwood, David and Carrie Grant, Tricia Penrose, Ray Stubbs, Angellica Ball, Fred MacAulay, Tim Vine, Sarah Cawood, Linda Robson, Rowland Rivron, EastEnders' Shaun Williamson, and winning Tara Palmer-Tomkinson (it should have been Williamson). The Catherine Tate Show starring Tate, David Tennant, Daniel Craig, L Henry, Noel Edmonds and Tony Blair (with an unexpected and brilliant "Am I Bovvered"). Little Britain Live starring David Walliams, Matt Lucas, Russell Brand, Thierry Henry, the real Dennis Waterman, Kate Moss, J Ross, David Baddiel and Jeremy Edwards. Creature Comforts, including an extra film with Wellard the Dog from EastEnders. The Last Ever Vicar of Dibley starring Dawn French, Emma Chambers, Gary Waldhorn, James Fleet, Roger Lloyd-Pack, Trevor Peacock, John Bluthal, Richard Armitage and Sting. The video for I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) sung by Peter Kay as Brian Potter, Matt Lucas as Andy Pipkin, and The Proclaimers, with Pete Waterman, Bob the Builder, Bonnie Langford, Bill Oddie, Basil Brush, Roy Walker, Tommy Cannon and Bobby Ball, Burt Kwouk, Coronation Street's Jennie McAlpine and Wendi Peters, Rupert the Bear, D Walliams, Postman Pat, Tony Blackburn, Coronation Street's Michael Le Vell, Status Quo; Rod Burton, Jane Tucker and Freddy Marks, Timmy Mallet, Jasper Carrott, Keith Chegwin, Des Lynham, Terry Nutkins, Bobby Davro, Sir Elton John and Louis Walsh. The performance of Patience by Take That. Top Gear of the Pops (on Channel 2) starring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May, Brian May, Lethal Bizzle, McFly, who make a special song with and without specific words called "Sofa, Hyandai, Administration", Travis performing Closer, Supergrass performing Trying To Get At You with Adrian Edmondson on drums, and Justin Hawkins, with a special Top Gear performance of Billy Ocean's Red Light. Comic Relief Does The Apprentice starring Sir Alan Sugar, Danny Baker, Karren Brady, Jo Brand, Alastair Campbell, Tim Campbell, Rupert Everett, Ross Kemp, Maureen Lipman, Piers Morgan (who deservedly got fired), Cheryl Tweedy/Cole and Trinny Woodall, narrated by Mark Halliley, with Noddy Holder, Simon Cowell, Geri Halliwell, Peter Stringfellow, Michael Winner and Anthony Worral Thompson attending the charity funfair. The Chris Moyles (Radio 1) Red Nose Rallyoke starring L Walsh and Jamelia. The performances of Read My Mind and (later) When You Were Young by The Killers. Borat (Sacha Baron Cohen) live from Kazakhstan. David Mitchell and Robert Webb playing Ted and Peter the Snooker Commentators singing Table of Reds with Chris De Burgh, and (later) Celebrity Numberwang with Carol Vorderman and Johnny Ball. The performance of I Did It My Way by C Moyles, Jimmy Carr and P Kielty. (MTV) Pimp My Ride starring Tim Westwood, transforming an elderly ladies' bus. The Mighty Boosh starring Noel Fielding and Julian Barrett. The Impressionists starring Jon Culshaw, Jan Ravens, Phil Cornwell, Mark Perry and Kevin Connelly. Armando Iannucci Presents The Greatest Worst Bits of Comic Relief with Richard Ayoade. Also starring Anthony McPartlin, Declan Donnelly, The Big Red Nose, Ewan McGregor, Frank Skinner, Myleene Klass, Dara O'Briain, Rob Brydon, Green Wing's Stephen Mangan, Matt Willis, Alan Carr, Lord Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Emma Thompson, Paul Whitehouse, Richard 'Dick' McCourt, Dominic 'Dom' Wood, Rickey Gervais, Steve Merchant, Jamie Oliver, Sir Bob Geldof, Bono, Annie Lennox, Michael Palin, and Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. It also included a countdown of The Biggest Ever Comic Relief Clip Show Ever! with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Outstanding!
