Video Of The Week: Sneak Peek at Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s ‘Ten Year’

As many of you already know (since I’ve been reporting on the film for a while), Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum are set to produce and star in their first film together since ‘Step Up‘ with their production partner Reid Carolin.

The movie is a high school reunion film called ‘Ten Year‘, and Deadline Hollywood just posted an exclusive early peek at the test shoot that director Jamie Linden let me to see and that I told you guys about last August.

In addition to Chan and Jenna, the short features familiar faces and real-life friends Haylie Duff, Nick Zano, ‘The Hurt Locker’s Brian Geraghty (Jenna’s ‘Love Lies Bleeding‘ co-star), and Kate Mara.

The story follows Chan and Jenna (who plays his girlfriend in the clip) as he heads to his high school reunion and contemplates proposing to Jenna with a ring he’s

33&Out News: Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum Join Forces Again in ‘Ten Year’

The production list for Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s production company 33&Out continues to grow and grow on a weekly basis. In the past few months, they released their first film (the political documentary ‘Earth Made of Glass‘) and announced they will also produce the sci-fi film ‘Ion‘ and the drama ‘The Contortionist’s Handbook‘ with partner Reid Carolin.

I’ve been told that they have a ton of other films and film shorts in the works too (including some new projects for Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s, but you can add one more named project to that list…THR is confirming a project I reported on in June. Chan and Jenna are set to produce and star in their first film together since ‘Step Up‘, and it’s a high school reunion film called ‘Ten Year‘.

Chan, Jenna, and Reid will be heavily involved in the

The Eagle

This week Focus Features, the distributor behind Channing Tatum’s Roman drama ‘The Eagle of the Ninth‘, announced that the film has officially been renamed to ‘The Eagle‘.

For those who don’t know, the movie is helmed by award-winning director Kevin Macdonald and is based on the best-selling, classic 1954 teen novel by Rosemary Sutcliff, and is set in the dangerous world of second-century Britain.

In 140 Ad, twenty years after the unexplained disappearance of the entire Ninth Legion in the mountains of Scotland, young centurion Marcus Aquila (played by Channing) arrives from Rome to solve the mystery and restore the reputation of his father,

Rumor Or Reel?: Channing Tatum’s ‘Knockout’ Gets New Name and Release Date

According to The Playlist, Channing Tatum’s action-revenge spy thriller, previously called ‘Knockout‘, has been renamed and is now set for a January 2011 release.

The film, which is directed by Steven Soderbergh (’Erin Brockovich‘, ‘Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve‘, ‘Ocean’s Thirteen‘), had a screening last week, after which attendee Rich Eisen tweeted…

“Saw the new Soderbergh movie “Haywire” the other night. Comes out in January. Already can’t wait to see it again. It’s That good.”

If the release date part of this rumor is true, Chan potentially will have three different movies in theaters all at the same time…’Knockout‘/’Haywire‘ (January 2011), the comedy ‘Cheaters‘ (January 14, 2011) and his Roman drama ‘Eagle of the Ninth‘ (February 25, 2011).

For those who don’t know, ‘Knockout‘/’Haywire‘ stars Mixed Martial Arts champion Gina Carano as a black ops spy that is betrayed by her team and goes rogue in an
