The series premiere has Gordon visiting Peter's, an Italian restaurant in West Babylon, NY. The owner, Peter, of course, does not make a good first impression as he keeps Gordon waiting 20 minutes at the bus station. Gordon's biggest challenge is fixing a Indian restaurant in New York City, which happens to be across the street from his own restaurants. The place is run by three different managers, none of whom are doing a very good job. The kitchen is atrocious and flies are everywhere, but Gordon has no choice but to give one manager the ax for backstabbing his partners.
