At one point in the opening credits, a running Tintin and Snowy are highlighted against a searchlight. This is a homage to the opening credits of The Adventures of Tintin (1991).

In the opening credits, Tintin and Snowy are on the roof of a moving train which passes some iconic scenes from the comic books. They pass the Black Island from "The Black Island", then the moon rocket from "Destination Moon" and "Explorers on the Moon", and finally the ancient astronaut statue from "Flight 714".
