Who's got the Sun-Ray Lamp?
28 March 2017 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

The gang are planning to go to Torremolinos, but Robin is concerned that he looks too pale and decides to get himself a sun tan. As luck would have it, Roper has just sold Mildred's Sun-Ray Lamp to Larry ( without her permission ) and he in turn sells it ( at an inflated place ) to Robin. When Mildred finds out he has her property, she wrongly assumes that he stole it...

This very good episode was the last one before the introduction of Robin's brother 'Norman', and the beginning of a story-line that would wrap up the series. Everyone is put to good use here, even the normally-underused Jo.

Funniest moment - Larry's look of bewilderment as he enters the flat and sees Robin in trunks, flanked by both Chrissy and Jo in bikinis. He does not say it aloud, but you can sense he must thinking "What on Earth is going on here?".
