I saw this movie at the Cleveland film festival and had a chance to meet two of the faces behind the film. I think that this needs to be a full length movie. It's not just a movie. It's an experience. You actually leave the film differently then what you came. At the same time the entertainment value is priceless. I wish I could own a copy. It's well written and the graphics are cool and add something to the story. The fact that it's written around rap/hip hop without the stereotype makes it a different story from what's on the market. It has suspense and action. You get caught up in the words as much as the action on the screen.

First of all, this movie is outstanding. The concept is brilliant and
music was fabulous. Instantly I recognized Shiva as the Poet from OZ
(on HBO). He had that similar drawl that made him an instant classic
there. In Rhyme, he steps up his performance by adding Rapping to the
mix. And let's just say that you can't fake rapping. He was excellent.
I don't want to blow the ending but let's just say it creeps up on you
and then sort of hits you in the head..oh and one of the best parts of
the movie is the animation. Kinda giving it an added Frank Miller (sin
city) type touch to specific sections of the movie - I don't want to
spoil it.
If you have a chance to check this movie out in a series of shorts, DO.
I am sure that if entered this movie will make it into many festivals.
the production value is great....so maybe look for this movie at the LA
Shorts Fest or LA Film Fest or a fest near you....
Enjoy
